My name is Katie. I am the creator and owner of Crafty KRAP (Katie’s Really Awesome Projects). I am very new to making and building a website but I’m going to take a crash course in this part of my business. So, thank you for your patience and I'm so glad you are here.
Although I'm not very savvy with technology I am very experienced in crafts. Sewing is my favorite. I enjoy making stuffies and cute little ornaments. I absolutely love when a child lights up with a big smile when they see my creations. I guess that is my absolute favorite thing about what I do. Bringing joy to others through my craft.
Growing up I have always been creative and always needed to make something. music, scrapbooking, sewing, cardmaking, are just a few of my many hobbies. I learned to sew from my mother. So, at a very young age I have always had the knowledge of sewing. Now I have been able to turn it into a business. A business I really love sharing with others.
My hope for this blog is that I can share with you some of my creations and also some step-by-step information of what I am doing that day. This is a work in progress just like my life. Together we can get through it step by step and day by day.... pretty sure that's from a television show.
I am also a Mom of a super awesome son. He is 19, and I am so proud of him every day. he is also creative. Together we have created award winning cosplays and I am happy to say the costumes have since been sold around the world.

I have a super sweet kitty named Sushi. she is a short hair black and white girl kitty. She is 15 years old. And I just adore my dog! her name is Lulu and is so sweet. she follows me wherever I go and keeps me company when I'm crafting!
